WHAT DO YOU THINK?

A new study by the Census Bureau shows that the majority of households in the U.S. are now occupied by unmarried people. The percentage of married households is now 49.7%. Five years ago, married households made up 52% of the country.

So tell Joe, why are people waiting so long to get married? Do you know a couple who lives together, but are waiting to tie the knot?

People are waiting longer to marry because it's the right thing to do. Marriage is (supposed to be) forever. You should make sure that you really want to spend your whole life with that person. By living with them first, you get to know who you're really marrying.
